Brief overview of the role

This Business Development role is part of the sales and marketing team. This role fill focus on SME deals within the UK.

You will be responsible for targeting new organisations and selling a SaaS solution. We are looking for a self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record for selling in the B2B arena. Ideally with experience in selling multi-dimensional SaaS products and/or healthcare tech.

The types of qualities we’re looking for include understanding the client’s issues, and matching and applying the benefits of Credentially’s solution. You will often need to involve several stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Team & Culture

You’ll be reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director and working alongside other sales and marketing team members. We have a remote-friendly culture and one that prides itself on helping each other out. Working with honesty and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate sales with new clients in your designated territory
  • Manage ongoing client relationships with key accounts through the entire sales process, including handover to Customer Success.
  • Identify key sponsors, influencers, and decision-makers at target companies and ensure that you understand their roles and objectives and that they understand the benefits and applications of using data. 
  • Create a sales plan on how to reach sales targets and ensure the implementation of the plan
  • Research a strong prospect list
  • Take ownership of your personal sales targets
  • Working closely with the marketing team to improve webpages/collateral etc.
  • Develop your new clients so they know how to use their online service
