We are currently looking for a Head of Strategic Partnerships to join our commercial team.

Credentially is an innovative leader in software supporting staff/candidate onboarding and ongoing compliance within healthcare organisations. We help organisations to ensure their staff meet and exceed the regulatory standards, improving patient safety and increasing the number of clinical hours healthcare workers can spend with patients. Their customers include some of the most recognised healthcare brands in the UK as well as globally.

Brief overview of the role

This partnerships role is part of the sales and marketing team. You will be responsible for three types of partnerships:

  1. Primary source organisations. These are professional registrations such as GMC and NMC. 
  2. Third party suppliers providing product commercial features. This is currently uCheck (UK) and Checkr (US) who provide background and criminal checks. 
  3. Resellers and referrers.

Within three groups you will be responsible for these core activities:

  1. Nurturing existing relationships to increase coordination and increase partner revenues.
  2. Seek out new partnerships, and onboard and grow them. 

You will be a highly self-motivated professional with a proven track record managing partners. You’ll have the tenacity, drive, commercial awareness, and persuasiveness to find the right contacts, understand the partner’s issues, and match and apply the benefits of your solution. You will often need to involve several stakeholders, both internally and externally.


Key responsibilities

  • Build relationships with existing partners and help them to improve sales and generate additional income from Credentially.
  • Seek out new relevant partnerships and onboard them. This includes a (but is not exclusively) pre-defined list of potential partners which will be provided. 
  • Identify key sponsors, influencers and decision makers at target companies and ensure that you understand their roles and objectives, and that they understand the benefits and applications of using data.

  • Take ownership of your personal targets

Skills / Proficiencies required

An ideal candidate will have experience in establishing partnerships in a regulated sector and/or multidimensional SaaS products. 

  • An outstanding personal sales track record
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Intelligent, able to solve problems, and react positively to change
  • Tenacity, drive and resilience
  • Commercial awareness
  • A targets-driven approach to work
  • Experience in regulated markets, or with complicated SaaS products
  • Self-motivated and organised
