Nurses' Day 2021

Today - May 12 - is Nurses’ Day. Celebrated each year on Florence Nightingale’s birthday, it’s an opportunity for us all to thank our nurses for their incredible work.

This year, perhaps more than ever, Nurse’s Day recognises the crucial contribution made by individual nurses - and the nursing profession as a whole - every single day.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, nurses and healthcare professionals throughout the world have worked tirelessly, risking their own safety to meet the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, support one another and to lead patient care.

In hospitals and in the community, nurses and midwives from all over the world have faced some of the most difficult and challenging conditions of their careers during the past year, with many losing their lives to COVID-19.

We owe our nurses a debt of gratitude.

For everything you have done and continue to do; for always putting patient safety first, even when it means putting yourselves at risk to care for others.

From everyone at Credentially: thank you!
